This beautiful handmade necklace has been crafted from a beautiful early 19th century piece of two lovebirds on a branch in a brass frame. This piece looks carved but was actually a very early form of plastic (the first plastics were invented in the mid late 1800s believe it or not!) It is interspersed with various vintage trinkets and faceted glass beads, all woven into linen thread. It is on of a kind. Length approx. 38 - 40cms
